Structures (Systems) - Something that defines a space. Examples would be; the physical architecture of a building, the social hierarchies within a conversation, rule of law, language ...
There are a couple of key points for me; firstly the idea of structure defining space, secondly that structures are not final and can learn/change. They are shifting tectonic plates and therefore constantly redefining space. The spaces defined by structures have room for manoeuvre, for interpretation and translation. It is important to remember that there are two spaces; the internal and external. The boundary can be both permeable and non-permeable. The space is where the interactions occur.
